I like how he says that destiny is calling him to open up his eager eyes cuz he's Mr. Brightside. To me, that sounds like he's had something bad happen to him, and he's trying to stay positive. It's like he's relating to the sadness people feel, but letting people know that there is always a silver-lining, and there are better times ahead.

This song came out when I was a freshman in high school. Not only did it help me get through high school, but as an adult at 32, it has stuck with me since and made hard times just a little bit better. Thank you. These artists never really realize the impact their songs have on their fans. 😢
