One thing I hope for is to have the ability to select the past catalogs and make progress on those, DRG Has done a Similar thing with their seasons which is amazing

I feel that at most we may get one more year of seasonal updates, but no new specials, maps, or gear; just some new weapon kits and refinement to what's there

Any third kits/collaboration weapons they add will definitely be one of the very last things they add. It takes very little time to add those things to a weapon skin. Chances are you probably wont see them until right before or sometime after finalfest

I think they're waiting for the grand festival to start so they can explicitly say “this is the end of splatoon 3”, we still have a normal splatfest that everyone forgot about after the grand festival was announced hahaha

I wonder if the reason they haven’t explicitly told us it’s the last of the updates is because Nintendo themselves aren’t sure if they’re going to add more yet. If they add anything I would hope for some returning stages (really unlikely but I can hope) and third kits.

I would love seeing the Toni Kensa weapons coming back 🕶️

I can only guess no more new catalogues, they will cycle so people who missed out can acquire the content. I doubt we will get new kit, just more balance patches, amiibo support, and maybe new stages ported from Splatoon 2 exactly how they were. Splatoon 2 had some really great stages.

Ok so probably the last season BUT that doesn’t mean this is the end of content. We know we’re getting more splatfests and more balance changes but there’s no mention of stage reworks and 3rd kits. Really hoping for both stage reworks and 3rd kits, as they could both really help. Many stages are mid and can easily be improved with some small changes and as for weapon kits, a few weapons got screwed with 2 mid kits so 3rd kits can breath new life into weapons like dapple dualies and mini splatling. Or if a weapon already has 1 or 2 good kits why not get a 3rd kit more focused on making the weapon fun, like zipcaster splash-o-matic or triple splashdown splattershot

It's a shammeeee. I don't believe it's fair to promise 2 years of updates and then not have a new update for the 2 year anniversary.

If we get lucky they might do some third kits soon. Probably won't happen though. At least the ultrakill devs care about their game

It takes like 2 minutes to make a few extra kits and get the update out in a week with all the extra kits (im guessing)

The final fest is after the end of sizzle season. So definitely not the end
