Maddie wasn’t upset about Kenzie winning. Her mother kept reminding her to stay happy because the cameras can pick up every little second of detail and turn it into something it’s not, so maddie got annoyed because of that

I think that Maddie was actually happy because look at her face when Mackenzie won it was so joyful and proud I think that the producers actually cut it to make it seem like Maddie was mad.
