Honestly, the Jaguar Menu Book was quite the surprise! They could do more of those books where you’d get a reward according to the book you just completed. Overall it‘s a good update, a shame the WTC900 doesn‘t reward us a bit more for 10 laps of LeMans.

Had a blast racing in the open lobbies! Bathurst was especially spectacular!

Hi Steve, Again, late to the party. The Toyota GT1 was a LM GT1 class car in 1998, and, was lightly modified to be classed as a LM GTP car for 1999. The CLK-LM was the V8 car, the CLK-GTR was the V12 which competed and dominated in the FIA GT1 championships. The 1999 Le Mans was not part of any championship, so any car competing could well be best to be Le Mans specific. Thus the CLK, the GT500 cars etc should be considerably better circuit cars [thus the CLR had so little downforce and the most overhang that it left the road skyward three times). The best car to directly compare to the Toyota GT1 is therefore any 1999 Le Mans car, such as the Mercedes CLR, the BMW LMP V12, the front engined Panoz and the Audi R8s and R8Cs, the open top Nissan R391. I seem to recall Toyota only did the 1999 LM 24hrs and the Fuji 1000kms, where the BMW beat it. You are correct in thinking the current LMP1 cars (and probably the LMDh and the LMHCs have much, much more downforce - as LM is part of the WEC, therefore the car can not be bias towards just Le Mans. For peak LM cars, you'd be looking at the Audi R18, the Porsche 919 (both low and high df body kits) and the Toyota TS050 (the one that has the lap record). cheers, m

i know im not commenting live, but since the Sega Dreamcast had the Le Mans 24hrs game for it, ive been looking for potential consoles and games with LM and the LMP1s and LMGTPs and LM GT1s in it. Like you say Steve, if the Nissan R390, the Audi R8c, the Merc CLR, Panoz Roadster, the Porsche 911 GT1, BMW LMP v12 and the Bentley EXP Speed 8 2003 were all added, that would be some amazing game. Keep up the good work.
