megan deserves better. the way she was used as a sex object annoys the hell out of me. especially with how she tried to speak out about it and how she was harassed by some people she worked for, but wasnt taken seriously and was completely ignored.

I love how even on the commentary track they mention that "only in Hollywood would you cast Amanda Seyfreid as the ugly best friend." And yet, there is a line where Jennifer is saying that Needy has to look nice, but not too nice, not upstaging Jennifer. So I think the film acknowledges that Needy is just as pretty, she just doesn't put the same effort into looking her best or have the confidence and presentation to draw attention to herself. It's some interesting nuance.

If they had advertised this movie better when it came out rather than “sexy school girl who eats boys” as James pointed out it would’ve gotten the recognition it deserved back then 😩😩😩 I will always be salty about this

I really wished James mentioned that Jennifer's death scene was based off an actual murder (well granted, that would probably destroy the vibes) but it was based off Elyse Pahler who was murdered by three teenagers as a sacrifice to Satan, the police believed they did it because of inspiration from a rock band named Slayer, it's truly heartbreaking and terrifying.

Honestly, one of the points i don't see almost anyone talking about is how jennifer not only keeps needy as a friend bc of knowing her for so long, but also because its someone that makes her feel superior, a dorky friend that will always make her look better. So yeah, that line is TOTALLY in character.

The funniest part in the movie is when Bill Fagerbakke screams: "I'LL CUT OFF YOUR NUT SACK AND NAIL IT TO MY DOOR! LIKE ONE OF THOSE LION DOOR KNOCKERS RICH FOLKS GOT! THAT WILL BE YOUR BALLS!" Absolutely hilarious! He sounded so much like Patrick Star! No joke! I've never heard such a funny line like that in a horror movie since Ricky from Silent Night Deadly Night Part 2 uttered 2 words: "GARBAGE DAY!". I can't stop laughing about it 😂😆😆
