Link was correct every step of the way in this episode. Rhett was blinded by a pie in the sky dream of microwaving 2 bowls at once and completely ignored all the potential mess.

That's a huge, tall microwave. Most people don't have microwaves that large, and with one that size it would make more sense to just microwave the food in a bigger bowl.

I’m so glad Link said the sliding cutting board is a 60s kitchen thing, my childhood place that was from the 60s had one! It actually covered the drawer completely so things wouldn’t get in the drawer
