Man got stabbed and went home to his kid. Didn't bleed out or anything

As a former haunt actor, I gotta say these are pretty realistic depictions of the patron crowd. Especially the person who "gets smart" and then goes out of their way to ruin everyone else's fun by calling things in advance. Seriously people. If you go to a haunt, don't do that shit. You're ruining the rest of the group's fun, you don't look cool if you're right, and you're wasting your own money by not even trying to enjoy yourself.

Although the ending at the park was a bit disappointing, I absolutely love the end with the killer going home to reveal he's an average guy with a family. Too many killers in these movies are paper cutouts of their genre, so to see one be shown to be a normal suburban dad makes him all the more creepier in my opinion.

Honestly, the very end of this movie made it for me. He wasn't some sick loner psycho who has deep trauma causing him to go crazy and kill people. He's a dad. A dude. A neighbor. Just somebody, anybody. He could be that guy you wave at every morning before you go to work. THAT is scary to me.

I love how much James cares about his fans by giving photosensitive people warnings

the scariest part about haunted houses is that there is no way you can tell if its just some dude in a cheap-ass costume trying to scare you or an ACTUAL serial killer blending in to get free kills
