Emotional moment bringing our daughter home to our home for the first time. We have spent the last 2 years preparing for this moment mentally, 1 year preparing for it financially and 6 months getting our home ready. A lot of love, tears and dedication went into this moment and it was a proud moment for both of us. Special shoutout to our family for supporting us in these special moments.

I live in Australia and my only regret is that I didn't teach my only child to speak Tagalog and be bilingual. She is now 42 years old and also wished the same. It is early yet I know but it is lovely to see/hear Tokyo Amelia speak Norwegian and Tagalog as she grows up. And be fluent in both languages. Well, they say - teach them early like nursery rhymes in both languages. Good luck ❤

Congratulations 🎈 just a little tip for goodnight sleep… for daytime naps it’s ok with noise and light.. and nighttime have the surroundings dark and white noise machine on. It makes them feel comfortable because that’s how it was in the womb… and then with that cycle they will learn the difference between night and day. It really helps a lot.. congrats guys doing a great job

I think martin you should report or file also the birth cert. Of your child in your embassy so that when you get her a passport it will be easy for her.

i am a 4 time mum here in Europe , and some tip I can give for to much air on baby"s tummy. Ave should watch her eating, every Cabage art, blowted baby"s tummy, and onions. So make sure your food is onion free and cabbage art free. Ps. Martin you"re such a lovely father. Not much man are like you👍 Congratulations Guys 💖 you have such a beautiful, adorable baby.
  • Congratulations to both of you. How pretty is baby Tokyo Amelia. Ang ganda niya.

I was also induced for the same reason and atruggled with milk production for the first 2-3months but it all worked out and nursed my daughter til she was almost 2. We supplemented with formula all throughout, but kept nursing her for the bonding and good things from breastfeeding. Hang in there and congratulations! 🫶🏼

Use a girdle Ave the Hook & I one, at least 6 inches in width ( not so much on witdh) just enough to cover the wounds, so you can easily move around, you will not feel that your stitches are expanding/ stretching or feel pain, put makapal na lampin on the spot of the wound, I had been there (W/ 3 adults now). Congratulations for being a good parents! ❤❤❤

So happy for you being in the Philippines. There's No place like home with all the support from family and friends. It takes time for the milk to get flowing. The more the baby nurses the more the mammary glands gets activated to produce milk. It's hard to relax but you are doing your best. Just pause every now and then and take a deep breaths and exhale slowly to relax and ground you. You both are great parents. and of course like everyone you learn as you go. Yes, it's not easy with all the interruptions and sleepless nights at first then you get to figure out what works for you. You have a sweet baby. She is so lucky to have loving parents. Love and Hugs to you all. 🥰❤❤❤ 🥰
  • Congratulations! Baby Tokyo will always be sleeping and then wakes up when it's time for feeding. I also had a caesarean section delivery many years ago and it was tough while recovering. But Ave is a young, healthy, and strong mom that she'll manage it well. Martin, you did a good job on putting together that stroller. That's what daddies do. Take care.
  • My husband and I are watching this on our TV on you tube .When you and Ave were humming your lullaby I cried ..you guys are the best 💕your daughter is so blessed to have you as her parents.More blessings to you guys 🙏❤️
