Well hello there!

It's time we we gave our final thoughts on our P&O Cruises to Amsterdam onboard Ventura!

When we started cruising, we fell in love with every aspect of a cruise ship holiday! From the easy boarding process, to the ease of being fed, grabbing a drink, and ultimately chilling out. Well, in this review we give you our overall rating of our recent cruise to Amsterdam.

I don’t wanna spoil the vlog by just saying here what we thought overall, but we were quite surprised. For an older ship (with rooms to match) we were pleasantly surprised by what we thought of Ventura.

  • We went to Spain and Portugal in June and absolutley loved it!, food was great, ship is a bit dated but staff were excellent. Loved it so much we've booked Arvia for next year!

Thanks for this lads. We're on this ship next August with the kids. Looks fab

I was on this excellent ship just last week, I had a whale of a time with my sister!
  • Great video guys I’m going on Ventura in 2 weeks time going to Portugal and northern Spain 😻

i was on ventura in 2010 when it was just two years old and it seemed so modern at the time
  • Great review! We will be on exactly this same cruise on Ventura in October 2022, mostly to try out to see if we will like P&O for longer cruises.
  • Thank you for the wonderful video! We have booked ours for Feb 2023. Any must visits in Amsterdam?
  • We went on Ventura a month ago to Madeira and the Canaries. Yes the ship is oldish but well maintained with a wonderful crew. My only downside was the food. I have not cruised for many years but it was not up to what I had expected. Having to have lunch buffet style in an overcrowded cafe was not what I expected. I expected all normal meals in the dining room. I had no problem with breakfast except the overcrowding. There was no sense of relaxation over the meals. Very disappointed. Food aside it was great. Evening entertainment fabulous; bars great. We had the drinks package but would not do so again. Thinking of trying Cunard next time.

What a great video. Thanks for the review. We are just back from Ventura and agree that She is showing her age. Beach house was excellent! Do you not get involved in the celebration nights? Dressing up is part of the holiday I always think

I just switched from a Cunard cruise to a P&O cruise, this looks more my style.
  • Hi I noticed you had child's drink packages. I didn't realise adults can get this. Would I be allowed an Ultimate drinks package and my wife be able to get the child's package or must you have the same type?
  • @MoiraBennett
Hi Guys, what was the name of the agents you booked thru? you said it was about 50 pounds cheaper than booking direct?
  • @KORPAL60
Best thing was no photographers and salesmen bothering you as in other cruise lines especially MSC
  • You say you paid £598 for the cruise. Was that the price for each of you. .or the combined price? By the time you add meals and drinks that price must have jumped up a fair amount. I don't know why, but I always assumed meals and drinks were included when you booked a cruise
  • Have just booked for 2024, only spain/France but with third and fourth place free, couldn't say no for my family of 8
