  • It also comes with a tiny paint touch up container. The pedal lag is by design. If the rear suspension wasn't as tight as it is when you put heavy loads on your bike you would bottom out.

Great review, as always! I'm a hefty 320-pounder, thinking about getting the Scorpio. Had some real concerns about the shocks handling my weight - you know, the whole soft shock, bumpy ride deal. But from what I've seen, Scorpio seems to handle it like a champ. Checked out Fucare's specs, their shocks are the standard 165mm. Thinking about snagging a 165mm air shock from elsewhere, any heavy riders here tried it? Scorpio's looking like the way to go for me.

The back shocks look too stiff for normal use, however if you hit a big pothole they might save your back more. At least the front shocks are softer.

As you get older, an ebike can never have enough suspension!
  • I bought the Fucare Gemini X with front and rear baskets + panniers also and LOVE IT! Got 80 miles on first charge including occasional top power use. This time I am keeping it on low power and trying to go for 120 miles before a recharge. Comes with a front battery AND a rear battery! I live in the Texas Hill Country. The range number I gave (80) is the real deal even in that terrain.

Gotta troll ya Micah, the company used to be called FullCare, they changed the name to Fu-Care. Love your videos man, keep em coming!

It's probably not for the featherweights eh.
  • 400 pound load capacity seems like a lot. Wonder if it's the result of the rear dual shocks or just a side benefit of the dual shock design choice. It's not really a cargo bike so yea, the dual shocks are a head scratcher.

Really like this one. Crazy frame. Thanks!

I'm guessing that the shocks have no preload adjustment. Right? I don't see any schrader valves, so no air adjustment either?

I'm 210 pounds and carry photo gear into the Backcountry. I'm thinking this will do the job

Better to have too stiff rear suspension than too soft. I would just throw a suspension seat post on it.
  • @tenncutt
No adjustment on the rear suspension?

I would prefer the motor not be placed on unsprung mass. Mid-drive would be better, just like other full squish eMTBs.
