Filipino, Philippines "Dancing Inmates" from Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC), a maximum security prison, were treated to a visit by Michael Jacksons long-time choreographer Travis Payne and dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid to learn performances from THIS IS IT.

The guy in the front is Travis Payne, MJ's Choreographer. So this is awesome the inmates are dancing w/ him.

I often wonder why prisons don’t do things like this..... they are all busy, getting exercise, working as a team, and aren’t trying to kill each other. I’m liking this. It’s incredible.

This should be done in all prisons. To my mind it is a positive function and the inmates are happier and more relaxed in that atmosphere. Great program...

FUN FACT: The three Guys in the first! They were in the Crew about MJ! They heard that the prisoners always dance with MJs Music! Three Days of exercising ... and this was the result... GREAT!!!!

First I was like this is neat. Then as the started the words "They don't care about us" it gave me chills. In most countries prisoners live in poor conditions and do not have their health issues properly addressed. This is a well made statement on how we treat one another.

I would love for there to be a follow up with all the individuals who participated in this dance to see what an impact it may have had on their lives. There’s something to be said about an accomplishment like this; the power of camaraderie, teamwork, taking pride in your ability to make a positive contribution, and learning to believe in your goodness. I’d really love to know what their lives are like now.
