Micheal is the only person who can start a video with an illegal pooping selfie and everyone just immediately accepts it
Honestly the fact that this video is almost indistinguishable from his older videos in style and editing is amazing.
Is no one going to question how Micheal just invents the word "Ussy" out of thin air? Love this man
I like how Bek unashamedly gave himself a big beer belly. He keeps it real.
I really like how Bek portrayed himself as a dumpy potato boy and idealized his wife into a beautiful woman, he had free reign to portray himself however he wished but he saw himself as a just a regular guy who lucked into the most beautiful woman ever.
Is anyone else absolutely blown away by the 'reverse selfie'? It just seems so insane to me.
It's the annual Vsauce treat!
I love how Michael still uses Chudnow's music, the 145 Poodles at 5:01 is to me THE Vsauce-music. Makes it feel so nostalgic 👍
The pictures taken by the Tsar's daughter are so fascinating. I've never seen anyone from that time depicted in such a human way that's similar to how we take pictures of ourselves now, as opposed to a photo of them sat down blank faced where they seem so far from human that they could be robots. It genuinely makes it so much more real when Michael then goes on to mention how her and the rest of the family were killed by Bolsheviks shortly after.
Michael is the only man who can tell nonsense from scientific point of view for half an hour, confusing people more and more with every minute and yet he always makes sense
I think it's amazing that after all these years of Youtube being around, that Vcauses' familiar music, Micheal's way of explaining things and the general flow of these video's, are still so relaxing and interesting to watch, and it always kind of takes me back to when I first started watching this channel way back in 2013
Never end to amaze me how Michael can go from "who took the first selfie" to "this girl and her family was brutally murdered in their basement" in just a few minutes in the same video.
Micheal openly confessing to a federal crime to start a video is actually completely in character
I actually think that despite this video seeming exactly like all his others, Michael's videos have matured significantly over time; the structure of this video is no longer "random tangents that happen to teach you a lot along the way" but a meaningful step by step path, yet one that still branches and forks into every possible nook and cranny of the subject, answering the viewers exact questions as they come up, one by one. It's remarkable how well produced they are, despite being about something so silly.
It's cool how you can simultaneously prolong the onset of your second death by having a picture taken of you holding a sign saying "My name is (name)" and hoping someone might read it outloud when they see the picture after your first death.
This dude is like a relic of YouTube’s past and yet he still hits nothing but grand slams, like the world he entered in has vanished and yet he remains eternal, god bless Michael
It's honestly pretty endearing seeing a distinguished gentleman huddled together with his friends to take a picture of themselves
Can always count on Vsauce to turn a simple question into a 25 minutes history lesson.
One thing is sure that vsauce never fails to give you existential crisis at some point or sometimes throughout the video.
Michael is one the pioneer of "Video essay" genre
