That dude blamed boba shops. LOL Thats how clueless these people are.
  • “due to issues going on with the city” They can’t even say the word - C R I M I N A L S

Starbuck's is like Waffle House, if they're closing there's a reason for it. You know things are getting bad now.

Think about how many people who used to come in that flat out left the Bay Area..

You telling me a $104 billion company is blaming mom & pop boba shops for closures?! 🤣 We all know it's the crime and your $9 "coffee" drinks
  • “It’s not the crime, more people are just ordering their lattes on Amazon”

How do you run a starbucks when the homeless are invading the shops :?

Don't forget back in the mid 2000s Starbucks closed a ton of stores in downtown. Why? Because they had LITERALLY a handful of stores that were across the street from each other. At one point in time there was 3 Starbucks within 1 block.

My friend who worked in SF downtown area 5 years ago told me that these locations used to be high foot traffic hot spots. They were nice hangout place for breaks and meetings. During holiday seasons, some stores got super busy all day long.

Starbucks still being woke as they are and not telling the people why they are really closing.

I really hope all of these closures result in a real estate reset; what these corporate landlords want to charge for commercial and residential leases is truly delusional.

San Francisco's tax base is waning fast. Let's see how many of their beloved social services they can muster after another year of this doom loop...

I don’t think it’s closing because of other drinks. Milk tea and coffee are 2 different types of drinks. I’m sure they not closing because of crime and all the homeless people 😂

Philz , Peets , Blue Bottle, local Boba Shops are all Bay Area companies.. a lot of alternatives…
  • @bobm21
Surprised they waited this long and only closed 7 in that city

Punish the lawless behaviors. I’m talking about criminals, homeless, and druggies alike. If they insist on keeping the same criminal laws then the city will be worse off than Detroit.
