Angry Bee Swarm Attacks Volunteer Police Officer on Live TV

An LAPD volunteer police officer was attacked by an angry swarm of bees. The volunteer officer eventually collapses as he's stung dozens of times. The bee attack unfolded on live television in the upscale Los Angeles neighborhood of Encino. A bee expert, who was watching the news report, rushed to the scene. The expert, Izak Kharrazi, told Inside Edition's Jim Moret he had no choice but to spray and kill the bees.

Wow, it’s kind of insult to injury not only to get stung by hundreds of bees, but to have people recording you for the world to see at your worst point. Glad the bee keeper came to stop the attack.

As someone not allergic to bees but was attacked by a swarm in the same way when I was in 1st grade, I know this all too well. A bee sting on it's own isn't that dangerous if not allergic, but each bee still carry a bit of venom. That's what causes the pain along with swelling If my school bus driver didn't hop off the bus and put herself in harm's way to bring me into a nearby school's nurse, I don't know what would've happened. I had blacked out midway through the attack and still don't remember the next few days after that, one of the most traumatic experiences of my life.

That police officer has my respect. It takes a strong man to take all that and still makes sure his partner and everyone was safe.

Poor man😭 he was volunteering to help his community, and the fact he waved his partner off in fears of bees following him in, says a lot about his character wow, hope his recovery is going well and his community is showing support for his heroic act of service

If this were my father/grandfather I’d be so sad that this moment was filmed for all to see. I hope he gets help with his medical bills and has a speedy recovery!
