The Pataudis and I go back a long long way.
Mansur and I dated each other when he was the India Captain. He was always easy going and would come to my shoots -- much to the delight of the film unit!
Sharmila Tagore and I were social friends and colleagues. And then of course they met -- and you know the rest!
So this Rendezvous was a meeting of old friends -- catching up on the years between -- and enjoying the moments of our reunion.
I found Mansur hadn't changed at all! Rinku had grown into a wise, rational person. Very honest and still retaining the Sharmila Tagore charm.
I'm sure you will love this Rendezvous as much as I did...

What sins we committed to watch Koffee with Karan n not this...there is still huge audience for this show...though I still not watch Koffee with Karan...but yes we don't have decent interview shows now...this show u learn a lot about life n how to go about it

What an elegant couple, so comfortable with each other. A huge contrast to Amitabh and Jaya’s interview who were so uncomfortable with each other.

There's this and then there's Koffee with Karan. Talk shows went from gold to garbage.

Patodi was simi's ex boyfriend yet they have healthy relationships.. Simi is a good person. Simi has dated only royal people and always dresses like one, very elegant and graceful.

The Grace, demeanor, friendships, stories, nostalgia of listening to Simi mam and her guests, you do miss the simplicity of the 90s.

Just watched Simi s interview with Sharmila n Patuadi again ! Class of elegance , poise, frank opinions . A rare classy television show in 2019. Wish Simi ji would start season 2 soon.

I remember that as a 10 year old I would wait for this show on Sundays ( If an not wrong) and would listen intently .. today I am 30 and I take pride in the fact that I had such impeccable taste at such a young age!!!!
