Congrats on the Chilean Flame T’s. 🔥 Our first was probably the size of a hydei fruit fly and we fed it melanogaster fruit flies and prekilled mini meal worms forEVER!! The day your little sling molts and shows its adult coloring is such a wonderful surprise and makes all of the time and attention you put into raising it so rewarding. I am so sorry. My father died from dementia 7 years ago, and my mother, 92, now has dementia and is getting visibly worse all the time. It is horrible to go through this. Being there is a comfort to people with dementia - long after my father no longer knew who I was, he knew he could trust me, on some level he knew this. My younger sister and I spent his last night sleeping in his room at his nursing home - he had one final lucid moment and thanked her for being there. Don't think it doesn't matter; it does.
