Sawyer does not know his butt from a whole in the ground.

I know if Dillon did this on a local arca track he would be eating a wrench in the pits.
  • Chase hooked Denny and was suspended one race. What the hell is the difference. NASCAR has lost control and does not seem to care. Long time fan and this has to stop. Get it together!!!!!!!

Remember the whole MWR incident years ago where they took Truex out of the chase and put Gordon in?

When punishment is as detrimental as the win/ points are positive, there will not be a reason to destroy cars and risk other drivers safety/ health. No win, no points no playoff.

I remember seeing Dale Sr bump and run but not like what we saw tonight .... That was a slam, wreck and run A bump and run was never about wrecking a guy, it's about moving him up a lane so you can turn underneath NOT slamming two cars into the wall
  • Since when has intentionally wrecking other drivers not been a violation of the rules?

They won't do anything to Austin... Fine maybe, at most... But they won't take the win away. If the roles were reversed, then they would do something. As much as I thought the finish was cool and insane, at first... Eventually, you have to draw a line somewhere.

Thank you for the upload. The VP saying Dillon's moves were teetering on the line is a massive understatement.

What a B/S interview RULE Enforcement needs to happen right after the incident BLACK FLAG NASCAR needs new Officials sent to Seminar on the Rules so they can enforce them.

Remember Sonoma 1991, Davy Allison and Ricky Rudd incident??

Nascar is not looking at this seriously enough, would Nascar be that ignorant if one of the drivers was seriously injured or WORSE. Yes it's a contact sport, RUBBIN' IS RACIN' But 5 cars back and corner bombing someone isn't RUBBIN'. Plus telling a driver to RAM someone shows a blatant disregard for another driver's safety. Should be Banned.

This is a product of what Nascar created. Win at all cost. With all their gimmicks NASCAR is trying to get game 7 moments every single week. They are historically inconsistent on everything. The only thing they're consistent about is what makes the better story at the end of the day
