I have struggled with a speech impediment most of my life. It held me back for so many years. But this young woman got on that stage in front of thousands of people, knowing she was going to struggle, but she did it anyway. That took courage. ❤

As a singer myself. I can say with conviction. The POWER of music is universal and it can overcome just about anything. We have a girl with a speech impediment and yet when she opens her mouth to sing it's gone. If that's not a gift from god almighty himself i don't know what is folks. He gifts and blesses us in MANY different ways to compensate for our various afflictions. So it is up to us to use that gift he gave us and never deny it. Because it's special and that's what makes everyone special in there own way.

What gets me, is how much more talent is out there just driving trucks, or working in pizza shops, grocery stores, selling cell phones, or slogging away in factories - and we will never hear their voices. OMG

whoever yelled ‘YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH.’ really pulled at my heart. amanda was so pure and so well-spoken, she was amazing also, courtney going from incredibly nervous to such a powerful voice was shocking. it was so passionate and fierce! she was really in the moment, you could tell. she deserved the golden buzzer.

This has got to be the most amazing performance I have seen on AGT. Also, I love how patient the judges were, and supportive the audience was.

As someone with a speech impediment, the first one is very inspiring! The amount of courage it takes to get up on a stage in front of that many people, especially with a speech impediment, is insane! Congrats to that girl and everyone else in this video for facing their fears!
