1970 I was 9 years old. At the age of 60 I do own a 1970 Camaro. I got a hand me down 1972 Camaro when I begun to drive My parents bought it new in 72.love my Camaro

I have a 1970 Camaro when I was a senior in high school. That was a goal of mine to have that car before I graduated out of high school. The car was awesome I should never have traded it in for a Saab

I just turned 18 and bought the same car, but blue in color back in 1980. I paid 500 bucks for it from an elderly lady at an apartment complex where I worked helping my older brother mow lawn and maintain the grounds. The following year I bought the same year Pontiac Firebird from another tenant for 1300 bucks. I drove both cars for several years and sold them for double of what I paid for them. Wish I still had both cars today.

This was better than the first gen, IMO. Too bad the 70's being the 70's had to crush the potential this car and its Firebird sister had.
