My wife & son died, in my opinion, f/medication given them in the hospital in December 2021. To make matters worse, the local paper wrote a story based on the obituary & public Facebook posts of others against my wishes to push their political narrative. The last 6 months & everything that has happened since their death has been crushing me like a machine press. This sermon has helped me weather the storms & continue to hold on for dear life. I listen to it daily to encourage me & continue to help me hold on. Not in a ritualistic manner, but like a sailor holding onto the ship's wreckage for dear life in the midst of the storm. I ran into a dvd series of Louie Giglio's call "History at a thrift store a week ago and started to watch it. I was so interested in his speech I started to search him on YouTube. I ran into this sermon and Wow! I started to cry. It was like god was trying to find a way to lead me to hear this to let me know I'm not forgotten and he's always been with me and already knows all about me and that he is always working in my life. A year later on November 28, 2023, this word was for me! There are no coincidences with God! We have been going through trials in our family & I questioned if God was hearing my prayers. I listened to this message 2 nights ago & this morning the title of one of the devotions I read was "When you wonder if God hears your prayers" & it referenced the same scripture about Hagar & pointed out the name she gave God, El Roi & reminded me again that God sees me, hears me & is working through my prayers in the situation we are dealing with. We need to find forgiveness for someone we loved dearly who has hurt us very much & my greatest prayer is that God will bring him to the point where He sees only God & is first above all else in his life! Thank You God! Thank you Louie for being obedient to God!

I listened to this while working at my desk in South Africa after getting some devastating news from my husband and wondering if my marriage could survive this... but after listening to this message I know that God can save my marriage and use it to his glory !! What an encouraging message !

I don’t know how long this message has been posted, but today, 4/11/24, God spoke to me through this message. I needed to make sure that God had been seeing me and the season I’m living right now, and He confirmed once again that I’m not in the middle of nowhere; that He sees my tears, my trials, my desires to be where I need to be. Thank you Jesus, for giving me a reminder that you still see me and my life will bear fruit in others. I worship you, Jesus.

Listening to this April 11 2023 and started crying when he said the first sentence. I don't believe I have what it takes to carry on anymore. I've always been a disappointment and still is at the age of 46. I don't deserve to reach 47 on the 24th of April.
