Why are they scared to call two penalties on the same shift? The NHL proposed a more strict ruling on slashing during this season and the refs have been forced to call slashes left and right. But, in this type of circumstance, anything slides for them. Straight garbage. The hooking on the play was softer than the slash too. Follow the dang rules and stop being so timid on calling things that are controversial. Rules are rules.
