  • Thank you belangp, though I'm barely 20 thanks to your informative videos I've made sure to have good savings, low monthly costs, and a decent amount of gold to sleep without worry. Unfortunately the rest of my family still doesnt seem to care about my worries and spend like crazy 😞
  • And that's why we love you Captain. You speak the truth, when everybody on our side is yelling "panic", "the system is doomed", " it's 2008 all over again". My gratitude for having our backs. Greetings from Holland!
  • Short and sweet, now I have a better understanding of bonds and treasuries. Thanks Belangp

Thanks Paul. Conclusion: treasuries are trash… ( the safest instrument turns out not be so safe). Gold get you some. 🤠

Great video, Paul. I was waiting for your take on this. Also, Mike Maloney give you a mention in a recent video, along with John Titus (Best Evidence) and George Gammon, so that's good company to keep. Cheers, from Australia.

Fair play to you for putting your head on the block when you say there won't be a banking crisis!

Very thoughtful analysis. Thanks Paul! (Just what I expected) 😊
  • Quite nice to see you back posting your analysis. You have been around the metals community longer than most and it seems everyone in it is worse than the traditional financial sector when it comes to crying wolf. I agree with your thoughts that this will not lead to a sudden downfall. Thank you for all your hard work and time put into videos. I am looking forward to reading your book this summer!

Pure stupidity owning low yield long term bonds during a period with high inflation. Should have had 60% short term Treasuries, 30% gold, and 10% silver or something like that. Not 100% 10yr-30yr bonds.
  • Thanks Belangp Much appreciate your insight and judgment into the risks of the bank failure. I don’t want yr peace disturbed but I hope you’ll continue to cover this!

This video flashed up on my feed, and I thought wow haven't seen belangp since an interview on the maneco64 channel a while back. Great to see you on YouTube again 👍
  • Interesting choice of words re Signature Bank: 'also seized' On a more crypto trip- Barney Frank of the Dodd-Frank act and a board member of Signature is rattling sabres about the way three crypto/tech sector banks disappeared in one week. Made all the more significant bc it operated it's SEN service 24/7 - something the industry needs at it heart.

As always, thanks for the video and time to educate.

We are in a deleveraging period. The ultra high debt and rising rates have made the usual tactics impotent. Whether this deleveraging is inflationary or deflationary, the guaranteed result is that it will be harder to acquire goods and services. The only other option is a reset/revaluation. This too is a deleveraging event. Anyway you cut it, its happening.
