Beyonce who?... I'm sorry... Beyonce has what on Barbara Eden??? Let's see, Barbara definitely has sex appeal, dances well (slower, but that was the times) - but wait... Barbara can actually sing, and oh... her song is just that... a song with a tune and isn't really a cheerleader chant. Beyonce... sit down. Can I get a thumbs up for Jeannie?!!!

Barbara Eden had Britney Spear's outfit beat by a good 30 years.

"Oh, Master, WATCH! I have learned to bump and grind!" Pick her apart if you must, but there aren't any "female celebrities" of today who can even come close to Barbara Eden.
  • @MissClassicTV1
Barbara came to Hollywood to be a singer but she ended up in the acting business. During and after the run of Jeannie, she showed off her singing abilities in tv specials, nightclub acts, broadway and even made a LP record in 67'

Definitely one of the hottest looking and most talented actresses in TV history. Excellent sense of comic timing, too... her old "I Dream Of Jeannie" series till holds up fairly well to this day. A bit dated maybe... but still very funny. And as for Barbara's famous physique... she's just gorgeous. An all-natural goddess. Contrast that with the surgically reupholstered fakes of today... and there really is no comparison.

She made being a young boy in the 60's a great thing, & that body never stopped....

When I was 10 and I Dream of Jeanie was on I LOVED her, I thought she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen, and that Captain guy was stupid to not even kiss her!
  • @hebneh
Oh yeah, Babs, let it ride, baby! This is Barbara showing off how there was more to her than she ever got to show in "I Dream of Jeannie". The see-through bodysuit (with strategic sequins) matches the color-coordinated outfits of the energetic dancers, and occasional cuts to fireworks and a blooming flower add to the coolness quotient of the number. Anyone who cringes at the costumes and dance moves - this is 1970, people. This was mainstream hipness at the time.

no auto-tune or mike over. Just a boom drop mike that hung 5 feet above out of cut view, with live music shot one time in front of a live audience. That was the Carol Burnette show.

Talk about a genetic lottery winner!
  • Like Andy Taylor told her, "Nature's been good to you. I mean real, real, real good. I can't remember when I've seen nature spend as much time on any one person." (The Andy Griffith Show: The Manicurist)
  • @strattuner
Michael Ansara was a very lucky man,to wake up next to her every morning, she was the heart throb of America, for a very long time after the show splashed ,every woman is America was judged by her, stone hot
  • @OCdude1028
Can't beat those classic hip thrusts!!!
  • @eidco
I played piano behind her for one show back in the 70's (a convention at Disney World). She was wearing a similar outfit but all white. The spotlight shined right through it and I had a heck of a time keeping my eyes on the music!
  • @Ekkie101
Wow, what a production; Barbara, the dancers, the orchestra and the arrangement, the sets, the camera work, the direction. Well done.
  • @chucklundi2198
That outfit is much hotter than the genie clothes........WOW !!!!
  • @crazybob1954mo
Gee, I do not remember taking acid before hitting the play button..... Yes, she was an american little boy's Icon. One classy lady....
  • @weenielongus
Wow, she's beautiful, can sing and dance, is she the closest thing to perfect or what?!?
  • @ArtisannasitrA
