A magic moment in rock n roll history right there. These guys belong on that ever evolving rock n roll tapestry being woven as beautiful new music appears on the scene...

If this happened here, people would be calling the cops. The best A Take Away show I've seen.
  • Suddenly a band is fucking rad and interesting and loud and all the indie kids start crying; they're different and they're not hurting anyone, enjoy the spectacle of it all; i don't even understand all of the foxygen hate, holy shit. (I understand they draw from their influences heavily, but it's still amazing and entertaining)

wow, foxygen is so so talent and beautiful, and brings modernistic vibes to 60s music. Love it and can't wait to see them this weekend!

In my opinion, there is a big difference between something with some 'visible' influences and something which is boringly derivative. Foxygen have clearly got some beloved musical heroes, but their music is very imaginative. They have albums and albums full of texturally and melodically diverse material. It's impossible to copy a memorable melody, coming up with one is an incidence of original inspiration. There is plenty of forgettable music out there but I don't think that's Foxygen.

Nothing brings balance to the universe like having an apple in one hand and a cigarette in the other. Gotta love these guys.

The authenticity of this video is priceless. Real life art (Where The Wild Things meet The Beatles/Ozzy)

Let's have an apple and a cig... This is old school rock n roll attitude my friends, and I LOVE it ;) and then to have great fucking music behind it makes it unstoppable!! Keep prancing around with authority people!!
  • I was playing air guitar to this and my arm got so tired I couldn’t get through the whole tune. RADO IS A BEAST

Sam France = 21st Century Jim Morrison. Set him free, peace and love and Foxygen. That's the way we all should be.
  • people these days dont seem to understand theatricality. Bowie did it, these guys sure as hell do it. I for one love it
  • They remind me of the 1960s and 70s bands. I remember them well . I enjoy this band its like they're almost a 60s revival. ☮️. Peace. Except for the crazy bit near the end. The singer reminds me a little of Jim Morrison.

"living todaaaay is just getting so baaaad" Foxy version of my best BJM track.
  • @bitterbuffalomm
The singers mannerisms are so interesting and unique. Plus the music is cool.

Joey. The fact that you are seeing Sam singing off kilt and different than the way you are used to seeing him perform DEFINES his singing style.....ever-changing!!! This band continues to evolve into something incredible. Can't wait to see you guys in NYC at the Bowery this month!!! Peace out
