Amazing how Mike consistently shares the bands secrets with everyone. Pretty nifty stuff.

Mike is a literal Genius, anything Mike has ever worked on has always been a hit or has sounded amazing

Even though I'm not a Linkin Park fan, it was cool to see how an established band does their recording. Much respect to these guys :) Thanks for the upload

I like how they know their stuff. It's impressive that they're not some sellouts, picked up off the streets and told how to record their stuff.
  • Most people will find this boring or uninteresting, but I can watch these kind of videos for hours. It’s so fascinating having a musical genius breaking down how he makes music and what goes on in the studio from his perspective. Favorite band of all time

Jesus christ, isn't it crazy how this is 10 years old, and only about 5/6 years ago people began catching up with this stuff? Like insane how he says that the quality you can have in the studio is the same you can have at your home, it actually became truth, but at the time, 2010s, I clearly remember that it was very fucking expensive to buy music production equipment, as of now everybody can buy a home studio for less than 300 dollars or something, and everybody knows how to make music, its fucking incredible. Thank god for that, and for the amazing industry and people that work in it. Music production gives a lot of meaning to my life.

I'm going to college for music, I'm still in high school and I understand most of what he's saying. YAY!

I love watching these kinds of explanatory videos whether it's about the music specifically or the band, etc. I love watching the "how to's" and "behind the scenes" just as much as the finished product - maybe even more :) This goes for movies too, although I'm not a big fan of movies. But I'll watch the behind the scenes all day! I know very little and do very little with computers, I just find it amazing on the endless capabilities - esp in the art world - that computer provide us with.

Here as a student to the game. Crazy to think I’m at where they were 11 years ago in my journey now. Ironically purchased metaflanger two weeks ago. Guess I know some sounds
