I Tried Playing Smash 64 in 2024

This video is absolutely incredible!! 😂 I love how you represented Smash 64 after 25 years of existing. If not for this game, we wouldn't have future entries like Melee, Brawl & Ultimate. 😱 Unfortunately, my first experience with Super Smash Bros Melee. (I was spoiled 😆) So I was in for a shock to know there was a game before this!! However this game holds up really good, sure there are better games that come later or even released in that time. It created a community & an amazing concept of crossovers. I planned to make my own video on this game so checking out your own take on this classic gem is such an amazing inspiration!! I love your jokes & enthusiasm you have in this video, this is my first video from your channel & you have convinced me to subscribe!! Fun Fact: Even though I grew up in the Wii/Wii U era and don't even play Smash, Smash 64 is the Smash game I probably have the most amount of playtime in. Reason being is because my dentist I've been seeing my whole life has had a Nintendo 64 kiosk in the waiting room for as long as I can remember that's still there to this day, and so I play it whenever I have to wait, and it always has Smash 64 running on it (except one time where it had Wave Race). I got Brawl for my Wii in like 2018 but unfortunately lost it after not too long, and I also got Ultimate not too long ago but haven't opened it yet, and that's it, meaning that the N64 one is my most played in the series.

Thanks for making me feel old. I graduated high school in 1999 and smash 64 was fantastic. Take it from someone that got it when it first came out.

I love this video and love hearing about all these different layers about the original Smash. This was a big game from my childhood, and hell it Made me happy seeing Z canceling again hahaha. I also really like all the new camera angles you were using for this video to spice things up. Smash 64 is one of those games you only really bust out when you have friends over. I have maybe 10 hours in single player and 1000s in multiplayer
