DESTRUCTION'S ALBUMS RANKED FROM WORST TO BEST.
In todays video I'm going to rank Destructions full-length albums. Destruction is a german thrash metal band and one of the most succesful European thrash bands of all time. We're going to rank their full discography from their 1985 debut album Infernal Overkill to their latest effort Born to Perish. But also classic albums like Release From Agony, Eternal Devastation, Cracked Brain and The Antichrist. This is Rank 'Em All where we rank every album from different metal bands and today we're going to rank one of the premier thrash metal bands in the world, Destruction. Destruction is one of the big three or big four of German / Teutonic Thrash alongside Kreator, Sodom and Tankard. Marcel 'Schmier' Schirmer and Mike Sifringer has been the duo that kept the band alive for over 35 years now. So today we're going to rank Destruction's full discography. Enjoy!!

  • Yes, Infernal Overkill definitely takes the spot as #1 because that album is a childhood classic and it's just awesome in general 🤘
  • Release from Agony is so good, I love the technical approach to it, makes it stand out a lot in a year where many bands were just trying to outthrash each other. Easily my favourite Destruction album.
  • Infernal Overkill, Eternal Devastation and Release from Agony are definitely my favorites. Even their later albums (All Hell Breaks Loose and so forth) are awesome as well

Destruction will never be the same without Mike... He was one of the best thrash metal guitar players!!!

For me, there is no song like Bestial Invasion. It speaks to me on a primal level, unlike any other. The biggest reason for it is, I think, the main riff. The almost clock-like drum beat that is reserved only for this part and the extremely catchy guitar riff create this atmosphere that can remind of a 'bestial invasion'. Especially the version featured on Live Without Sense. Just, *chef's kiss*. "Hell storms, rush over the earth. Bestial invasion" face melting riff If Destruction wrote only this song and nothing else I would still hold them in the same regard. Completely agree with the list, especially number 1. Bra jobbat, fortsätt så!

I'm more of the old school Destruction fan. Release From Agony, Infernal Overkill, Eternal Devastation and Cracked Brain are my favorites as well! Also Mad Butcher EP is one of my favorites! Solid list!
  • Thank you so much ! I love you for loving Bestial Invasion as much as I do ! The first time I heard that album was in communist Hungary in 85 ! It was a smuggled album , and we lived and died for it ! I still hadbang if I hear that album , and Im 53 now!
  • All i gotta say is 'bestial invasion' track maims-kills-destroys and annialates everything in its path 🤜🤘🤘🤛 great album.

Holy crap. Gotta admit I had never ever listened to Destruction before. You weren't kidding about this dude being a riff lord. Really fun to discover 35 years of awesome riffage. Thanks for opening my eyes.
  • I'd pick "Eternal Devastation" over "Infernal Overkill", but other than that your rating is spot-on. I find their past several albums to be very bland and interchangeable. They need to completely rethink the way they record and produce their albums IMO.
  • Release From Agony is my favorite. I just love that album. Great list! Thrash 'till death!
  • @malakasquad2214
No surprise here! Infernal Overkill is one of the best Thash albums ever made. The solo on The Ritual is overwhelming, must be one of the best things I ever heard. I also appreciate the way Eternal Devastation sounds, it fits perfectly and gives the album a unique atmosphere. And I'll have to check out Cracked Brain once again, it's been a long time ... Cheers! 🤘🤘🤘

Curious to see your list, was waiting for this video, tusen tack!

Internal Overkill is the only Destruction album I still play on a regular basis. Super riffs, Bestial Invasion used to be on repeat. What a banger!
  • @MikeysMorgue
Release From Agony is my favorite Destruction album! Eternal Devastation is a close second! Rock on!
  • Just heard the new album diabolical. I don't know if it's that they have young blood in the band, but this album freaking kicks ass. I'm going to see them tomorrow in Houston Texas USA
