I called for Rabiot in the covid season for the very same issues we're experiencing and what you just explained, he was £15m after covid when everyone was skint. People kicked up stink and I was even accused of being Rabiot's mum trying to get him a move. 😅😅

I've no problem at all bringing in Rabiot. We're losing a lot of experience in the squad this Summer and he ticks a lot of boxes. To get a player of his quality on a free is very welcome right now. I think he'd fit in very nicely.

Rabiot is a very good player however I assume being free he will look at the shitbags in our squad earning 200plus a week and say I want some of that.

His talent is undeniable and he'll bring the depth to our midfield............. we're meant to be having a cultural reset though and shouldn't be scouting notorious toxic players (in terms of their PR power through his mother)

Rabiot as a player I have no issues with. The only potential problem is that he must be getting up to around 30, which supposedly isn't in line with our new transfer policy. The issues I have is mostly that my view of him is that he's somewhat of a spoiled brat. But that mostly stems from his time at PSG where there were a lot of issues with him supposedly throwing his toys out of the pram for not getting enough time on the pitch (when ironically Motta were playing over him). But that might be ancient history by now, so maybe his head is screwed on right nowdays. He's for sure a step up from Amrabat, for the same type of role. So I don't think I would mind him if we don't give him silly wages which I think he absolutely will demand. So I don't think it will happen for this reason.
