Jon Jonsson (physicist) is Thai-Icelandic. He was the winner of this competition in 2004, receiving a $100,000 contract with IMG Models for four years. He retired from modeling in 2007, then passed the bar exam and got a BS in astrophysics in 2009. He returned to modeling in 2011. As of 2013, he’s a patent attorney.
