Man, every time I listen to this I think of the scouts first proper introduction. They were such a mythical group in the show beforehand. You would always see them leaving or returning for mystierous excursions in the background, and when they were introduced you see them fearlessly taking out titans like it's nothing, with levi casually standing on one's head. You instantly know that that these guys are badasses; that they have more experience than anyone. Suddenly, they're even more mythical than they were before, living legends. However as you learn more about them you realize just how much blood it took for them to gain that experience, how many of them don't return every. single. mission. Then you start to realize, that they aren't fearless at all, they're terrified. Every mission they're scared that it'll be the one they don't return from, that they'll never see their families back home again. They're terrified, yet they aren't paralized with fear, they watch their comrades die but push forward regardless for the sake of humanity. They aren't living legends. They're just people, and that's way more impressive. Edit: having seen the ovas holy fuck this song is so good for levi too, but that's a self explanatory surface reading of it.

It is ironic that this OST is one of the least played songs in the entire series yet , it is actually the best one and most memorable in my opinion !

this song will always remind me of the end of episode 3 and Eren using the ODM gear for the first time.

流れなかったなーけど神曲には変わりない、いつまでも聞くよ

S1 ost = best Every season is good but the amount of quality and soul poured into S1's ost left me feeling that this is what AoT is. It made me feel a part of the world they were working to build. Later seasons never even came close to S1's ost.
