Nobody owns a Siberian husky. In fact the reverse is true. They own you.

They are SO affectionate! I cannot think of any other type of dog that is so alert and aware of what is going on. They react immediately. If you stop stroking them, they will either bark or tap you on the arm as if to say: "Hey! I want more!"

Huskies are like the sassy models of the dog world I want one..... I admire their sass..... (If only I didn't live in such a hot country ;-;)

When I was in the military,I got a husky. My son was born about 8 mos later. He could crawl all over the husky and she would just lay there and take it. Then in May of 86 I got orders for the Philippines for a 4 year tour and it is hot all year round there. I wasn't going to do that to my doggie. So I found a good family to take her. It broke my heart to let her go,but it was for the best.

That's so cute! My white shepherd (Naru) is friendly too. But this one time when the cable guy came to install the cable at our house. Naru heard him coming and started growling. That was his first time he's growled at anyone, I was surprised.

My Husky only sheds twice a year. Once for 7 months and then for 5 more. ;-)

You forgot the talking back LMAO!!!...These dogs are one of thee most VOCAL dogs I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Ya just cant get past those baby blues with out a smile!
