Famed magician David Blaine, known for his daring stunts that test the limits of his survival skills, is back with a new trick. Blaine was hoisted 20,000 feet over the Arizona desert by 52 large red balloons, before plunging toward the earth in a freefall broken by a pull of his parachute cord. Blaine said the trick was inspired by the classic film “The Red Balloon,” which his mother took him to see as a child. He dedicated the stunt, dubbed “Ascension,” to his 9-year-old daughter. #InsideEdition
