Thanks for the video. YouTube needed a good Hardie shingles installation guide. As a new and young GC I use youtube a lot to validate many products technicalities. The main difference for canadian quebecer GC's is the gap of 3/4" required behind the shingles for the mandatory air chamber.

I started this same project today... I've done carpentry and roofing all of my adult life (close to 30 years of working). But I've never installed this stuff before. Needless to say,, I looked like a monkey fkkking a football out there today trying to get my stagger pattern right. Thx for showing me the proper technique!!👍 (It was one of those, "OH YEAH!!... well DUH!!!" moments in my head, when I watched this video!) 🥴😂
