Short, sweet, and to the point.... without a 20 minute lecture on BS just to hear yourself talk. If only everybody would do this!

Thank you very much for your hard work and dedication making these videos. I work at a "Big Box Retailer" and ppl come in expecting is to know everything like an electrician. Guy came in wanting to install a 30 amp receptacle, but had no clue what parts he needed.

bravo! someone who knows how to insall a dryer receptacle. dryers & rangers were improperly wire for decades with 3 conductor romex which tied ground & neutral together. so many youtube videos on wiring are scary, this one is o.k.
  • Great tutorial ! May be the best, most clear instruction I have ever come across. Thanx alot !!

Panel wiring was beautiful...a good electrician will even make the wiring you'll never see look nice! A pro!

Thank you for this video! I just moved my dryer down to my basement in an older house I just bought. In the process I found that I have to rewire it with new 10-3 instead of using the old 10-2 wire that was originally installed in the house. I was confused with how I needed to connect my 10-3 to the circuit breaker box. This helped me out so much!

The groud wire does need to be actually hooked up on the 4 prong receptacle. I found this out the hard way. Can't leave them hanging anymore.
  • Thank you,, short and sweet and to the point exactly what I was looking for!!

Thanks for video but please don't use a ring when your work have a great week
  • Hello, Ben! First of all I wanna say thanks for your videos!! Now I would like to know how high should that box be. Could you please tell me?

Dryer plugs and stove plugs look the same. But are different. Dryer plug he used the neutral was shaped like an L. That’s your white wire. The stove plug the neutral doesn’t have the L shape. It’s straight. Just to let everyone know the difference

Sorry to ask. but your washer hookup. I see your supply and drain lines aren't connected like most of them are. they are placed on either side of the stud. where did you get those from? I've been looking but cant find them. Also the recessed dryer exhaust too. thanks!
