The Ukrainian army continues its defence operations against Russian attacks. Every day a large number of Russian military personnel and equipment are being destroyed. And this is not only Ukraine's war, it is a multi-faceted war. For this reason, other countries are also involved in the Russian-Ukrainian war, both with ammunition aid and political decisions.
The United States is preparing the largest ever arms package for Ukraine, and preliminary data suggest that it will amount to $1 billion.
The aid package is expected to include vehicles, Stinger MANPADS ammunition, additional ammunition for HIMARS, 155 mm artillery ammunition, TOW and Javelin anti-tank missiles and other weapons that can be deployed immediately on the battlefield.
The US had reportedly postponed a vote on a bill to provide financial and military assistance to Ukraine. Last week, however, the situation changed and the House of Representatives has already supported the bill.
The Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, played an important role in bringing the bill to a vote. For a long time he had been blocking consideration of the bill on aid to Ukraine.
Now this bill will be put to a vote in the Senate, and after its adoption, it will be forwarded to US President Joe Biden. Biden noted that he will sign the bill immediately after its approval in the Senate.
