"Techno Syndrome" is a song composed by Oliver Adams and performed by the Belgian techno duo The Immortals, commonly associated with the Mortal Kombat series since its usage in the 1995 film, which made it subsequently known as "the Mortal Kombat theme song." Remixed versions of the song continue to be associated with the Mortal Kombat franchise. The song was first released in 1993 as a single, going on to be featured in Mortal Kombat: The Album and in TV advertisements for the movie and the Live Tour. The "Mortal Kombat!" scream for which the song is known, in fact, was sampled from a TV ad for the first game.

  • I'm so invested in this. After going live with Kyle on TikTok. Hearing it and now with Cordell it's really hard for me to believe it's Kyle.
  • This is some obscure, bucket-list-level stuff to be diving into, folks!! I'm loving every uncovered minute of it!!
  • Crazy considering that according to several other sources the sound was recorded long before the commercial was even shot. Midway games sent the samples to to the artist's who done the mk album. Still some dots and stories that don't add up. But at least we have some possibilities
  • Has there been any word from Kyle on this? He’s still happily taking credit for the scream. Clearly it was being emitted from Cordell’s mouth in the commercial, and I’m pretty certain it was recorded live because the first scream from the mob leader’s mouth is very discernible as live. I’m now truly convinced that Cordell is the prime source of the most iconic war cry of the past 30 years.
  • We should put Cordell and Wyatt into a big acoustic arena and just have both of them yell "MORTAL KOMBAAAT!" at each other until we can determine who done it.

Now we need an interview with the techno syndrome dude's

A fascinating story. Always wondered who brought that part of MK to life. Unforgettable. Legendary. But to learn where they are now, anything is possible.
  • @michael9659
I wonder if he knows that Kyle Wyatt is out there saying that it was him…
  • I'm also curious if he knows about Kyle and with him saying he's the voice hmm🧐
  • So was the iconic scream this guy or Kyle Wyatt, the other guy he interviewed who said it was him?
  • Hey Dude, just popping in to say I love your cinematic music. Thanks a bunch!
  • Your research is progressing and I'm proud of your work. I think your next move is to actually have the producers present the Techno Syndrome file and show the procressing of the Mortal Kombat voice, and remove all of the added effects so that we could actually hear the dry signal of that voice. His story is more promising than Kyle's story since he was able to draw from his experience about hearing his voice in the theatres.

You look and sound like the older version of Yongyea
