I loved staying with my grandparents when I was growing up. Some of my greatest memories was sitting on the front porch listening to all the stories of the past. I wish I had taped them. My family lived colorful lives. ❤

Your grands and greats are so lucky to have you and Gigi. They'll have fond memories of you both. As for your flowers, I can see the difference in colors. One is more of a lavender pink blend and the other is more salmon pink. Both are beautiful.

Paw Paw when my grandsons were young I used to cook their breakfast to . Usually bacon and scrambled eggs with pancakes . Now as adults they rush out of the house to go to school . All 3 of my adult grandkids are all graduates from high school but still are doing further education. I have one graduate from Emerson College in Boston . I really miss cooking for them but for some reason their palate is totally changed . They rarely eat at home anymore. Their girlfriends don’t cook which is the norm for this generation. Your love for Lex reminds me of my Pap's love for my son. My Pap lived for that kid. Picked him up from day care every day and spent a few hours with him before I got home, even when my son was an infant. My son never once rode a school bus because my Pap took him and picked him up every single day until my son got his license. It was such a beautiful relationship. I'll always cherish those memories. I love watching you and Lex because it brings back sweet memories.
