Never thought of fishing in this way

Hit the nail on the head. If fishermen worked half the hours they would catch just as many fish in a few years. If everyone worked half their hours we could substantially cut back on environmental stress in so many ways and accomplish just as many important tasks (while weeding out the “make work” and increasing real productivity). This would also create more jobs. We need to move to a maximum 30 hour work week worldwide with a guaranteed living wage for all.

spread these videos like wildfire people!!

People will say "This is important please share 😔🙌" and continue to eat fish and meat
  • When David speaks of the solution, it INCLUDES fisherman, industry, loggers etc in every video. He doesn't demonize the need for economic growth, or the consumption of animals. He provides solutions that allow everyone to thrive. "Fish, and keep fishing but do it THIS way instead." How could anyone disagree with this?

Yep, the fishermen know now. We are not going to put up with any lame fishing operations period. Globally and largely thanks to GreenPeace and the reserves. There's plenty for us to share with our wildlife too. I remember the day when our world was full of life. I remember deep blue skies too. 🌧🌧🌧🌏🌍🌎🌧🌧🌧

Everyone knows that if we keep fishing, fish will no longer swim in our seas. By the way, anyone watching this in 2021?

Ancient Hawaiians and many indiginous cultures used carefully place fishponds to only use what we need and to let fish feed and grow to full maturity. Small fish could freely swim through the gate but larger fish wouldnt be able to leave. ie Paepae O Heeia (kaneohe fish pond)
