This Arc was truly INSANE, we all know it takes place before the Moon revolution meaning we know Mars didn’t get terraformed but honestly it would’ve been really cool to think about in a “what if” series
  • "Don't give me that nonsense! Whats the big idea to USE me and leave me for someone else, im not your high school girlfriend!"

  • @Luke._0
We had to wait another week 🤓 (I really loved the Terraforming Mars arc :3)
  • @jessetorres8738
We know Astrodude is going to leave Mars at some point though since the Moon Revolution occurs AFTER he leaves the planet & encounters Titan in the Asteroid Belt.
  • @ares34234
why use billions of dollars to terraform mars, instead use that billions of dollars to fix the earth😢
  • I was expecting "the rocky planets" not this whole arc 😭 (Oh well, looks like we gotta wait till next Saturday)

One thing SolarBalls hasn't mentioned yet is how much Astrodude gets paid to be an astronaut. The salaries vary depending on whether you're a military or civilian astronaut and are further based on education and experience level. According to NASA, civilian astronaut salaries range from $104,898 to $161,141 annually. They are also covered for Health care, Travel, Paid holidays, Challenging and exciting work, State-of-the-art training facilities, and Paid leave (I wonder what Astrodude's vacations are like, given that he's on a mission with no return date and how far from Earth he is all the time). Military astronauts are designated to the Johnson Space Center in Houston, and their pay, leave benefits, and other military matters depend on their active duty status. Military astronaut candidates typically are commissioned officers with a minimum of five years of active duty service. Their monthly pay scales vary depending on several factors, but military astronaut benefits include those above, as well as monthly housing allowances and aviation career incentive pay. Having said all that, you may be surprised to learn that, due to such high demand for such few positions, astronauts are paid less than professional athletes or movie stars. But I imagine Astrodude is an exception, given how much extensive and groundbreaking work NASA and ROTSAR are having him do across the Solar System.

Do an episode of " is mars really destroying phobos? " Because phobos is the closest moon to mars in fact so close to mars that the Martian gravity is slowly collapsing it. Because scientists have found weird streaks on phobos caused by mars gravity slowly degrading and breaking rocks on it's surface. And scientists say phobos has about 15million years till mars completely destroys it. But the debris might form a ring around mars and clusters in the rings might lead to phobos being reborn again How about you do an episode on that.

Bro, that's insane 💀💀 So much shipping in the chat 😭😭
  • 🇺🇸: "so what you're saying is we have to DESTROY mars to live on the planet...only to DESTROY it" Astrodude and the computer: "really my guy? Is destruction all you think of 😑" 🇺🇸: "yep pretty much 😃" Astrodude and the computer: "why are we not surprised"
  • @Fragle69420
13:29 Damn, Astrodude really got the best life, married to his highschool girlfriend, and is in fucking space which is like everyone's childhood dream
