I can't believe people call this "bad weather" or say "it's ugly out there"when it's raining this is the best thing ever. The sounds of the rain drops hitting the ground and the thunder and lightning mixed together, the glossy shine the rain gives everything, the coolness in the air, the smell of everything after? This is the most beautiful weather!

I used to wake up around three in the morning and couldn't get back to sleep. I've been leaving the rain storm on all night. Now if I wake up I fall right back to sleep. Its the most soothing sound there is.

I like listening to this in my barn, in the evening, leaning on a bale of hay while my ewes are quietly baaaing to their lambs as they bed down. Listening to my chickens clucking softly to their chicks, the cats prowling the hay and my dogs at my feet. That ambiance and this sound never fail to put me right to sleep. God bless us all. 🙏

I love stormy weather like this. It reminds me back when I was a kid and sitting on my grandparents screened in porch with a storm like this and the thunder and lightning so close. It was beautiful.
