Growing up listening to this man, I think Jim Croce is often overlooked on these lists. Not only was he an amazing songwriter, but Maury Muehleisen was incredible. Look at Operator, I Got a Name (My fav song of all time) and so many others, they were an amazing duo on acoustic. I'd love to see some break downs of their music.

You get top marks for listing Ten Years After "I'd Love To Change The World". I was a big Alvin Lee fan back in the '70s and I agree with you totally---- it's a beautiful song, and Alvin's electric solo is truly one of the most beautiful ever recorded. For some reason it's not as well known as it should be, but it stands up as great as ever all these years later.

I love this channel :), I think in it more as an electric guitar channel, but the effort is sweet with the acoustic :D

“This song is timeless” I officially dare YOU to play “wish you were here” by Pink Floyd for an entire day. Thank you
  • This is exactly what I needed. Thank you for how much effort you put into making this video

I loved your list, thank you for sharing and providing new goals! ♥️ If you do a part 2, could you add "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas (my favourite right now) and/or "Stop this Train" by John Mayer? With "Mediterranean Sundance" you can see how much posture, guitar position, and the thumb behind the neck matter re "classical" pieces like this. Sitting up straight and left knee heightened to angle the guitar neck make a lot of of difference for the poor stretched hand. I started with classical nylon guitar, I still play classical pieces like this to relieve the hand hand give it more room.

I think The Black Crowes “She Talks to Angels” acoustic intro is lovely and should be on the list
  • I just bought my first PRS and I love it. Such a beautiful sound and design
  • @chriscranker
Just picked back up the ole guitar after only 20 years, loving this 🙏
  • @jeremythelad
Part 2 Wonder wall - oasis Time of your life - Green Day Drive - Incubus Stairway to heaven - Led Zeppelin Blackbird - Beatles Tears in heaven - Eric Clapton These songs are pretty well known but you gotta know them.
  • I'm much older that you, and therefore love a lot of 60's and 70's stuff. Love the fact that you played Classical Gas and Ten Years After, "I'd Love to Change the World". Listened to them both on 8 track! There are tons you could include here, but a couple of my favorites are ELP's (Greg Lake) "From the Beginning" and a kind of one hit wonder, Mason Profit and "Two Hangmen". Great stuff and keep up the good work!
