I honestly love the parallels between Kuina and Luffy, rarely see the two of them compared with each other, but I guess it makes sense since they're both people Zoro respect and look up to.

Oh god oh my god at 1:27 I literally got shivers through my whole entire body. I want to make work like this some day. The way you portray them is just so real. I love how luffy shows a different side of himself just for Zoro, and zoro for luffy just the same. God I can’t get over it. The whole moth to a flame symbolism and everything. Damn. Damn luffy is just a whole magical entity in this, he’s just so gentle with Zoro it makes me want to cry

This was beautiful!!, Not just from like a shipper perspective cause thats already making my heart swoon, but also in a techinical perspective, the way you made zoros three sword onigiri move, actually look sensible AND cool is incredibly impressive, even the anime makes it a quick beam, so in my eyes this waa godly, also just noticed zoros top surg scars, and thats such a nice touch ❤

Whenever I talk to my one piece fan friends and I mention that ZoLu is my otp they find me weird or just simply tell im stupid cause I ship them, and I just wonder if we watched the same show?? Like how can you not see their special bond, the way Zoro is a wreck for Luffy, and how Luffy treats Zoro so differently than the other strawhats. Sabaody and Thriller bark arc is such a proof for that. ❤️

So I have loved the Zoro and Luffy relationship (both platonic and romantic) since I was in high school... sooo like 2004, though I haven't caught up with One Piece in some time. I'm starting to get back into it thanks to the live action and youtube is now recommending me things. I am absolutely giddy to encounter such excellent ZoLu content here in 2023. This was absolutely beautiful, the imagery, the expressions, the whole moth to the flame bit. The way Luffy's smile lights everything up, the way Zoro looks at him like his heart is gonna break- not the sort of break that comes from feelings unrequited but from the sort of passion that comes specifically from seeing someone else with such intense love and respect. The fact that this hits the VERY SPECIFIC spot I've always seen them as like, INTENSELY close but doesn't necessarily have to be romantic? (but y'know, ABSOLUTELY CAN BE if you ship it) Chef's kiss, everything I could ever want. Song choice is IMMACULATE, just perfect in every way. I am giddy to have encountered this, seriously made my day. Thank you!

So okay, first of all, I don’t watch one piece at all and I’ve literally been spoiled on it ZERO. But nobody gives Kiltro enough love, and this happens to be one of my favorite songs by them of all time, so that is to say I totally watched this animatic regardless. and oh my god. Gorgeous work, fantastic storyboarding, I can tell you have a HUGE vision for this work and I hope this comment sufficiently expresses how impressed I am with this
