Definitely an awesome Shawn Michaels figure. Love the series 100 head sculpt with the new style of hair. Hopefully if they ever decide to do a bad blood remake that use that head again

My new HBK hasn’t arrived yet, so I can only speak to what I’ve seen online… I too am in the middle on the cloth entrance gear. I’m cool with the cloth chaps, I guess, but by 96, Michaels’ vests and shields had become super riveted and ornate, which I feel translates much better on rubber. As far as the boots go, they’re accurate to that “defining moment”. Michaels wore various motorcycle boots until roughly Survivor Series 96, at which point his tapered black boots with silver trim became standard and trademark. As far as the face sculpt, I think they nailed the likeness. The color and contour of his face is really nice and very realistic… however, where I think it fails dismally to capture Michaels is with the expression, or lack thereof. HBK is one of the biggest personalities ever—that totally blank, dead-eyed stare couldn’t be further from his essence. A cocky smirk or a stern scowl might’ve put this fig over the top, IMO. But, alas… As it stands, my favorite HBK face sculpt remains the Fan Takeover alternate. The mid-90s likeness is solid and his expression captures HBK’s peak-babyface swagger and energy to a tee. It matching the iconic WWF magazine cover from April 96 helps too. 😅 Good vid!

Mattel needs to spend more time learning how to incorporate plastic into cloth to make the perfect accessories.. they probably dont wanna do it because its more work with having to attach plastic pieces to cloth.. like imagine little metallic mirrors where those stupid circles are, but made out of plastic, and properly colored.. that would probably make everyone of us happy.. n theyve done it before, so it’s not like the kids make it happen

What I remember about HBK that night was JR saying he had the flu so Shawn wasn’t at 100%… hence why he looks soo depressed I guess… never been a hbk fan but I got behind him against Sid… cuz who doesn’t like to cheer for the underdog eh

Just got mine today

I personally think this is the best figure in the 4 set and a top 3 michaels elite . - a new headsculpt with a new hair sculpt - cloth goods , including a cowboy hat and interchangeable hands - an actual sought after gear This is going to be one of these figures in a few years time that the price will shoot up . It could have came with knee pads or a winged eagle belt sure , the logos actually being on the knee joints front and back as opposed to them avoiding the area , pinless arms . I personally dont see what there is not to love about this , just because it isnt your favourite likeness doesnt mean the likeness isnt there . Its a homerun as far as im concerned . Great looking figure
