Phil Adam, Intellivision's CEO since Tommy Tallarico moved sideways earlier in the year, issued a statement via email to backers and supporters yesterday. As per usual, though, there was just more waffle and nothing concrete

Primary focus should be to give back money people are asking for, this should be above paying their bills, paying their salaries, and certainly should be placed above "funding and completing a quality product." Thieves.

The entire Amico project is one big grift... Tommy lied from the get go
  • @RobbieAdamss
They filed for bankruptcy and won't tell anyone to continue the grift and get as much money as they can....

Dear Joe Chip I enjoyed the video as always but those lies you said were out of hand the Amico will have 4k games and the best controllers on the market with the Exclusive games that surpasses even Sony and brings in children like Nintendo. And it's online service will beat Google and Microsoft beyond what anyone thought.

Honestly, the amico could have been a neat idea if they advertised it more as a machine for games like the jack box party games, and make it like 75-100$. Make it more for adult get together and not for kids. Kids wont/don't want an amico. It still would be a very niche system, but I feel it would attract more potential buyers if they went that route. Add virtual cards against humanity, the jack box games, maybe a star trek kind of game where each controller controls a different part of the ship.

Why is there people thinking that they will start production and start sending units to anybody? They are saying what they WOULD do if they could, just that. Why is everyobody failing to read properly? It says it right there in black and white: "... our PRIMARY focus is FUNDING and completing a quality product" to anyone who can read, this has a clear message: We have no money, we WILL continue to raise funds (this is the priority) and are far from having a completed product" IF we are optimists I can safely say you WON'T see this thing launching any sooner than November NEXT year as cheap plug and play if at all.
