  • I respectfully disagree with the last one. I believe that Shadowsight was a great character and med cat, and that the drama with Ashfur and him was very interesting and unusual. I also think that the fact that he could not communicate with Starclan was cool and unique, and that it was fun to read about a character who was being called to by darkness, but was able to overcome it and keep his good heart.

Akira: I appreciate Flametail for being the first non-ThunderClan perspective in the clans Stormfur and Feathertail: šŸ‘ļøšŸ‘„šŸ‘ļø
  • Jayfeather is extremely popular but I love how sarcastic he is. I also LOVE yellowfang- she's just perfect Edit: also, CLEARLY akira is the best medicine cat. They can literally cure anything with one jayburger and a cookie.

Iā€™m not sure why but I imagine medicine cats just magically become British once they become a medicine apprentice
  • @Eclipse210
Poor Willowshine. She deserved so much more. I would like a novella on Featherwhisker and Goosefeatherā€™s relationship. It mustā€™ve been hard for the guy to watch his Clanmates badmouth his mentor in front of him and for said mentorā€™s mental state deteriorate.
  • ā€œFlametail is the first non-ThunderClan POV catā€ Stormfur from Moonrise: Am I a joke to you?!
  • @Hopp25
I love alderheart so much. Hes so sweet and deserves more booktime
  • I think you should def go into more detail about Puddleshine, Iā€™m planning a whole map around it actually! Just hear me out. First of all, as you mentioned in the video, Puddleshine never wanted to be a medicine cat, but was forced to become one because Shadowclan needed a medicine cat. Then Darktail comes along. We know that Puddleshineā€™s siblings and parents were all eager to join under Darktailā€™s leadership, and we also know that the only reason Puddleshine remained with the rouges was because heā€™d sworn to protect his clan mates. He never wanted to join the Kin. Then during his time there, his parents died and 2/3 of his siblings died, the siblings(Birchbark and Lioneye), being directly killed by Darktail. Thereā€™s also the fact that from Violetshineā€™s perspective, Pinenose was not a very loving mother. True, we were seeing it from Violetshines POV, but still. Also, like mentioned, he was turned into kind of a mean cat in Darkness Within, only to drive Shadowsights plot. Plus we know he had some uncertainty that he would be a good medicine cat, which makes me feel kind of bad for him, heā€™s trying his best. This is just what I noticed but I think he has a lot more going on than meets the eye and deserves to be recognised!
  • Great tier list I agree with most! The only one that suprised me was Barkface's placement, I always felt that Barkface's was such a genuinely nice and trustworthy cat especially towards tallstar in his special edition, I was so sad when he died, I personally would've put him higher! Let's give Akira some love for this tierlist aswell as the other videos, she deserves it!
  • @JotaroKujo-ip5wb
my heart cracked a bit when yellowfang ended up in B instead of A
  • @lj2659
Nooo I love poor Runningnose :( he was so nice in yellowfangs secret! I also like Sagewhisker a lot; I don't know why. I love Shadowsight :( it's so interesting that he's connected to the dark. He was quiet and lonely and sad and I liked that. I would personally put Fidgetflake in F tier. They botched him so bad in Sky, he had 0 personality, I was hoping he would be "fidgety" and odd. Alderheart got super boring after the first book
  • @Silvercrowarts
Aww, Cinder would have been so happy to see she was placed near her mentor! :)
  • @RedySetDare
I kind of always liked Littlecloud because I found it interesting that he started as a warrior and was inspired by Cinderpelt helping him to become a medicine cat. He might not have much going on but I think that was a really nice bit of personality they gave him.
  • @varazi
I feel like shadowsight had so much stuff going around him, but the execution was poor at best. the idea of a medicine cat turning evil could've been very interesting imo. he was so devastated after being manipulated into "killing" bramblestar and fooled by ashfur he considered staying in the dark forest. the writers really put so much pressure on the "good cats turning evil" thing, yet we really only saw that with ashfur. I know shadowsight was supposed to be an anxious guy, but come on. that would've been so much better giving the context
  • @saturncyan
Resident Featherwhisker lover here, he's (in my humble yet very correct opinion) one of the sweetest without being annoying characters and also one of the few with a sense of humor, also he's very fluffy-just look at the official art of him- so I therefore must love him.
  • @falcon_arkaig
Oof, that dig on Shadowsight broke my fragile little heart. I love him šŸ’”
  • @ao8613
Aw man, I love Barkface šŸ˜… His character and relationship with Tall in Tallstarā€™s Revenge is just really interesting and relatable to me. Actually, I really liked the trio of Bark, Shrew and Tall, even though the brothers didnā€™t go with Tall on his climatic journey. Obviously, Jake sort of steals the show in that story, but I donā€™t think theyā€™ve ever made characters quite like Bark and his brother ever since and I like to think that he and Tall remained very close throughout their long lives as leader and medicine cat.
  • @GazingfernWCUE
Akira : 'Fire alone can save our clan.' Name a more iconic line! Jaypaw ; Im here to heal you. If you want sympathy, go to the nursery.
  • @Green_0519
Alderheart is a cat you can actually relate to. All the other protagonists, just worry about the plot, get a love, are almost overconfident and done. Alderheart, on the other hand, will often doubt himself, such as becoming an apprentice. I mean, we all do, don't we?
