  • So when the dung eater invades you it is possible to use the crab nearby to death blight him I'm calling this particular cheese "revenge of bogart".
  • @oysterscrolls
Morgott is easily my favorite boss in Elden Ring. Not for his fight or the presentation or even the music, but his constant presence throughout the game. The Fell Omen, the Night's Cavalry, the scene with Godfrey holding his body and all inbetween. He's one of the few noble souls, fighting for what he believed in, who retained their sense of self all the way to the end.
  • I had absolutely zero idea that the saying exclamation "Marika's tits!" was a real thing in game. This just made my week.
  • @Scendence_
I love how even the Narrator for this ending is like, "Dude...wtf?"
  • @VaatiVidya
Because people are probably wondering - the Shanehaight NPC has cut dialogue, and while we had the text, we did not have the narrated lines. So I asked @ricepirate to help bring the character to life.
  • @VaatiVidya
Anyone remember at the end of the last Prepare to Cry episode, that I said I would release a shorter episode next time? 😂 so about that..
  • I think there is actually a very straightforward reason the Crucible and primordial life was eventually persecuted so heavily: the Golden Order was built around removing Death from the Elden Ring, and worshiping a Queen Eternal. No past or future, only the timeless, eternal Golden Order. Anything that points out the beginnings of (or even eras preceding) the Golden Order would inevitably become taboo, because it flies in the face of the paradoxical achievement of the Order, that Death has been mastered and endings no longer exist.
  • @fernoramos94
Dung eater is the first npc to actually make me feel uneasy. The way other npcs described him and what he does to corpses was really dark.
  • @SuperKonjac
The cinematography here is simply amazing. You’d almost think all these shots were from in-game cutscenes
  • The way that the main character transitions esthetically from a majestic Golden warrior to a bloodied , sickly looking omen curse user it's just amazing. It complements the narrative of this video perfectly. You realy outdid yourself this time man goodjob.
  • @deadlees1254
Sucks how black guard who just wants to eat some carb has to get defiled like that he was my favorite character
  • @TheDbzgtaf
Beautifully presented, as always. I had missed most of this story's questlines and couldn't understand dung eater's role in the elden ring lore. Thanks for this!
  • @gaIIivanter
The one thing I regret while getting the Despair ending was Big Boggart's death... He just wanted to enjoy his seafood.
  • "Have it written upon thy meager grave... felled by king morgott, last of all kings" -Morgott the grace given
  • I will always remember the Dung Eater. Because in all my Soulsborne blind playthroughs, I have never once attempted to kill an NPC even though they may seem questionable. Because I can never be sure of true intentions and personality. The Loathsome Dung Eater made me break my rule. Even in my best assumptions about him, I could still see him doing unspeakable things to at least one person who didn't deserve it. So when I finally got to his corporeal body, I showed him the same lack of mercy he would have showed to Boggart, and killed him without letting him even fight back. This was probably the only time in all my Soulsborne experience where I felt purely good about killing. And when I found out later about what he was all about, I am so glad I made the right call.
  • @LanPodder
"In death Morgotts horns disappear. Perhaps it was one final mercy from the Erdtree... Too late..." I did in fact cry a lot
  • @Quin_Ram
Wow…. Vaati really took this “Prepare to Cry” video to the next level with the animations, sound effects and soundtracks. This is his best one yet!
  • @hobosorcerer
Seeing Briars of Punishment emerge from the seppuku ash of war sent chills down my spine. What an absolutely beautiful idea.
  • @pivotcreator2
Just a thought, morgott doesn’t call his twin a traitor. And mogh uses the same magic as morgott to defend the path to the three fingers. And brings ruin to the haligtree by taking Miquella from it. Mogh isn’t even actively seeking power. Content to wait for the time of his dynasty, and does not challenge his twin for Lyndell. Seems like there’s a level of cooperation
