Four hostages were rescued over the weekend by Israeli forces, but the families of the remaining hostages in Gaza will “continue to be a source of pressure” on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, said Ambassador Dennis Ross. “Hamas is probably embarrassed by what happened,” Ross said. “In the immediate aftermath of that, I don’t believe that you’re going to see a greater likelihood of a ceasefire deal being done.”

If civilians are holding hostages they definitely need to be held accountable

What kind of “civilians” keep hostages ? How many of the civilians are extensions of hamas ?
  • Sinwar is in turkey. He ran and left the people to die for him. This isn't just a terrorist group. It's a cult, a death cult.

Ask UN why al jazeera writer held one of the rescued hostages? Seriously, Al jazeera should be held responsible for the hostage taking.

If you keep hostages at your house, you are NOT innocent

Any deaths are the responsibility of Hamas!!! Were the hostages being kept by 'blameless civilians'?? Maybe if Qatar would kick out the Hamas leadership and stop paying the pay to slay, there might be more chance of more hostages being released. ALL BLAME IS to HAMAS!!!
  • @thebackpass7992
@karentaylor3053 If you don’t like the way hostages are rescued - then DONT take hostages !!!

The average Palestinian in Gaza is cooperating completely with Hamas. After all, before October 7th the average Gazan voted Hamas in power in 2005 and sent their children to Hamas controlled schools and to Hamas controlled health clinics and food banks. They did so willingly and without complaint. It is no wonder that the hostages were found in civilian houses and apartments.
