    I remember watching this when it originally aired. It's crazy how so many of the legends on this show are no longer with us. Their work still lives on.

    This was such a beautiful celebration of blackness. Everyone was there. This was a prestige gathering of black excellence, to celebrate all black art forms from literature, music, and cinema, to education, and television. Eartha Kit, Denzel & Whitney hosting!? The Fugees opening..Halle berry, Quincy Jones, Angela Basset....The WHO'S who, okay!..wow. What I'd give to live during these times lol

    Brandy won a NAACP award at a very young age and there are some people it takes them years to win one. She is literally one of the greatest ♥️😭
