Just wanna start off by saying thank you for the idea. I tried it out myself today and was on a budget so I just got one transmission cooler and even with just one I was so surprised how cold it was blowing works great defiantly gonna order me another Hayden radiator it’s like it was made for it. The only issue is I get a lot of condensation on the water hoses. I am thinking of also insulating my Home Depot bucket or using a styrofoam cooler. I need to find a way to be more efficient and keep the water colder for longer. My ice tends to melt pretty quickly been getting a lot of 100 degree plus weather recently in Southern California. Thank you again for the idea.

Have you thought to create an Icy Ball Refrigerator like they used in the past? You are a gifted inventor, I would love to see what you can come up with this type of refrigeration.

Great video. Peltier refrigerator +homemade AC is the best!!! haha

This is great waiting on my radiator coming in tomorrow can't wait to get my room ice cold.

So cool. Great out of the box (fan) thinking. I was thinking if you run each radiator on it's own small pump, rather than have a two stage system, you would have two single stage coolers pulling from the same reservoir. I believe this would be more efficient. As the water makes it's way through the top radiator and into the second radiator, the same volume of water will gain more heat in the second stage from the environment, and return this heat into your reservoir, reducing the run time. Running each radiator separately from the same reservoir will also make the top and bottom radiator run at the same temperature, rather than the top being cooler, and the bottom running a little warmer.
  • I already ordered the radiators. I tried the whole copper wire around the box fan but its not that efficient. This looks to be way better. The power went out over here in Southern California a few days ago and it was hot. Luckily I had mine built but I realized it wasn't blowing cold enough with copper tubing. I like the combo with the Evap cooler too. After I get this together, that will be my next project. Thanks for the videos and the explanations. This helps out so much, especially for someone like me whos mind is constantly going and thinking of solutions to these grid down problems.

The water temp and icepacks would probably stay cooler longer if your water reservoir were an old ice chest instead of an open air bucket...

Loved this video.. You could try mounting it on to an ice pack box where the entire unit would sit on the cover of the box (that is if the weight of the fan and the grills aren't too heavy). That way it would look compact and avoid the hassle of an open bucket with pipes.. Kudos thoo.. 👏
