I’ve owned the Kathmandu about 18 months now and done about 2500 miles.

Agree with upper speed at 20 mph, 15.5 is a little slow. But as you say, this is down to the law, not the bike.

Are you aware that it is quite simple to fit a device which will allow you to increase the maximum assisted speed? There are videos on YouTube which show how to do it. Probably against the law but who would know?
